The Ginger Guardiola has said “We’re close to signing Hooper. I expect that to go through as we’re well down the line.” So, unless the contents of his Ipod contains the back catalogue of Simply Red then will become the latest piece of the ‘summer spree’.

Can’t say I paid attention to Scunthrope so is he any good? His former team-mate Michael O’Connor says “If he goes to Celtic I will put a few quid on him to be top scorer in Scotland next season. I think he will get 25 to 30 goals up there. Rob Jones, who used to play for Hibs, thinks along the same lines.” I’m taking that to the bank.

    I have seen him described as Scott McDonald that knows the offside rule. I just always thought you had to be a big basturd to play for Scunthrope. Must be the name.

    I’m gutted ‘Holic but was let down badly by friends. Was nearly coming myself and pimping myself for two nights digs.

    Me and Mrs LoTW are hoping to head down sometime this season.

    Still sourcing t-shirts but will get them to you and your nephew.

    Watched the Binos against Grimsby the other night. Binos were terribe.
