Pathetic. It’s the only word for the first 3/4 of this tie.  A few goals and a bit off effort in the second half may attempt to kid us on but this continues a run of poor results against non descript European opposition. Too many failures and guys we can’t judge, yet. It’s difficult – at this time -  to see where this will end and the feeling that you are being sold another pup will populate your dreams for a few days.

Where do we go now?Well, Juarez in the centre of midfield and Fortune starting seems a good place…

Strangely enough, i believe we are two defenders and a goalie away from (given a little bit of time) a half decent side.
The Celtic (Strachan/Lennon) reluctance to give McCourt game time totally amazes me. What do i/we see in that boy that they can’t?

I agree but it depends what we are measuring the decent against.

Another thing from last night, where is this Joe Ledley guys, was he playing last night…

We are Europa League Level and barely even that. We need something to breathe life into the team,a nd that something/someone has to be funded my McGeady’s sale. Hopefully Bellamy, but I can;t see it…

Love how the Bellars story is leaked after a disappointing night. Not that we are cynical.

Totally agree re McCourt, what was the point in bringing him on in the 87th min?

any game plan that lennon had went out of the window as soon as they scored. McCourt should have been brought on right away. Saying that I dont think that long term he is the answer to our problems, however, we needed a miracle and he is the only one in the squad who can provide that genius…..

Where was the thunder that we were promised ?? no charge up the park… the tie was lost as least we should have went for it.. but, no same old same old one paced dimensional football…

I fully expected us to batter them with cricket bats but instead we tickled them with a feather duster. Disappointing doesn’t do it justice.

We have until Monday night for the Europa League qualifier. Would rather a beast of a goalie, a left back and a gnarled experienced centre back whose just out of jail arrive before then.
