A poor performance and a deserved defeat. I’m being kind calling it poor though my limited grasp of the English language means that it’s the only word I can think of. I look at a thesaurus tells me the words I’m looking for is pitiable or meagre.
Before the game my hope was that if we were to lose then I hoped R*ngers would have had to work for their victory. The fact that they didn’t is the most disappointing thing. We were done by our own honest mistakes.
I don’t earn thousands of pounds a week and after training get a DVD of how my opponents will play. I don’t have access to thousands of minutes of footage, of tactical analysis and OPTA stats. But, I know that R*ngers play for set plays and are dangerous from them.
For three players to be attacking a cross ball without a Hoop in sight is sackable and annoying.
The goals we lost are predictable. Set play, defensive baboonery and an honest mistake from the MIB. Our toothless reply is also etched in historical documents.
I’m glad we have a game this week to get back on the horse.
