Unsure if the words: “I think we should bring on Charlie Mulgrew on the left handside of midfield” have every been uttered by a sane person but I can confirm that saying them caused a facial expression akin to a sparrow spewing into your mouth.
It was a grimacing performance for the most part. We seem a team uncomfortable as Celtic. There seems to be a struggle to comprehend that we will face teams that will kick, contest every moving ball and sell their granny even though they are 3 – 0 down.
Maybe some of them are beginning to realise that this will be the biggest gig they will ever get. That must cause some mental stress. I fully expect more vacant stare type performances before our newbies really get to grips with life as a Celt.
In some ways I’m glad the game didn’t turn into a 5,6 nil drubbing. We have to go there again on Saturday and playing a wounded animal is not nice. A hard game keeps us focused. Hopefully.

Got to be Maj for me. He done the job of two centre backs and covered for Bombscare! Honorable mention for Ki, I thought he done well again!
