The game closest to Halloween means the excuse is there, for some, to dress up to attend to football game between 22 well paid professionals who probably don’t notice or care that some have dressed up for the occasion.
On Saturday we had assorted super heroes, cartoon characters, cowboys – some village people fantasies being lived out me thinks – and a gimp.
The gimp introduced himself to Emilio Izaguirre after theĀ impressive Honduran scored our second goal, in what was the definition of a routine victory. The police introduced themselves to the gimp much to Anthony Stokes amusement.
His goal was the meat in the Niall McGinn sandwich, with the Norn Iron youngster making it 3 in 2 games since his return.
Begs the question could McGinn play an important part for us?
