10,000 A Week Deal For Feindouno

|

Celtic Park is usually a graveyard for trialist. De La Pena, Dani and Amoroso have all wandered around the training ground and failed to impress (sic). Our manager has given the-seldom-seen Oliver Kapo a contract this season after being impressed with what seems the players ability to turn up on time.

Guinea International Pascal Feindouno is now rumoured to have been offered a deal at Celtic but his holding on for double that amount, which has been offered in Qatar. With him also being linked to Everton, Blackburn and Bolton this leak seems to have the hand of brinkmanship all over it.

This video of the player comes with the tagline: ‘Le Black Zidane’ I really hope you can feel my complete apathy at this charade.

    Pascal Who ?

£20 K a lot of money for someone I’ve never heard of.

Has this interest been confirmed with anyone from The Club ?

I used to Love the build up to Transfer/Buying periods.

    Pain in the rear now!!

A few month’s ago I managed to tally (Average) up all the player’s who where linked with a move to Celtic in the summer, It was close to a Hundred.

I try to be positive all the time, But all these Squad over-hauls every window got disaster written all over it.

And I’m going to mention the unthinkable, What if this teams fails miserably ?? — –

    — And Lennon has to go (Your Fired ), And a new manager comes in, Do we see another Squad overhaul, ridiculous getting now.

Spend £20 K a week on a Mentor, (technically gifted), That’s the ‘biggest signing’ Celtic can make this january.

The Brafheid’s, Kamara’s and Keanes last january, All for Nowt, because the manager was out of his Depth.

Having being giving the explanation that No Mentor is needed, as I’ve (Lennon) got people on the End of the phone is WRONG.

And it needs more people banging the Drum about this, We don’t just need the guy’s to counsel him before and after games

We need it most during games when Tactics need changed, subs need to be used properly and a Formation needs re-assembled.

All this team requires to win the Title is a decent Centre Half, ( Captain material ).

And if Big Forster goes back to NUFC, then Buy a Keeper, No Given’s or Loan deals, And maybe another midfielder brought in.

A Midfield- battler, someone who takes the game with the scruff of the neck And that’s all we need as long as wee bring in a decent Mentor.

    HAIL HAIL
    Forever Celtic.

So, what you are saying is that Lennon shouldn’t be the manager as, like Mogga, he is out of his depth? The club is a shambles. Poor decisions left right and centre by the board. Lennon was the only decision as they could take as no-one worth their soles of their shoes would take the joab. I think it’s too early for Lennon. But….I understand that it will take time. We are making small steps.

I don’t think we will see a massive over-haul. I’m more perplexed at this constant pissing about in the Lidils market of free transfers and nomadic players without a club. I hate loan deals as well.

I was one of the many who didn’t want Lennon appointed.

I did however want him No2 to someone with a bit more experience.

I would have accepted Davie Hay alongside him for about a year.

And gradually gel Lennon into the Job and help him avoid all this negative stuff, Like the media assault etc.

I like yourself recognise the Boards mistakes with bad decisions etc.

Are you not meant to learn from mistakes Board ?

This time last season we knew Mowbray was out of his depth.

And instead of doing anything about it then, we went into January transfer period Just like is happening at the moment.

Bring in few loans, and maybe a few signings, and hope that will be the answer.

Personally at the moment I think on paper we have a decent enough team to be hammering average Spl teams.

Its Not a good team we have, But Ok.

And a lot of the mistakes IMO lie at Lennon’s door, He doesn’t admit that thou, as he will blame refs, gelling process etc etc.

A lot of his tactics and formations are IMO making an ok team and player’s look bad. 4-2-4 etc and Zonal marking.

And the most worrying part of it for me, is he repeats the same mistakes over and over and that needs addressed.

We are going into mid season, And there is only one Champs league spot up for grabs due to the co-efficiency being reduced for the SPL.

We are talking about a possible £15-20 million quid if manage to qualify.

And we are risking that because of pride and stubbourness. We might hurt the guy’s feelings and accept failure for appointing a Mentor.

But if some folks think we have down sized now with poor quality, What’s it going to be like if we don’t get our hands on that Champs league cash ??

It will not be Lidl’s shopping we will be doing, It will be corner shop!!!

Time for Lennon to learn from his mistakes is something we don’t have. I am usually a glass half full guy, but he installs no confidence in me at this point in his managerial career.

And if we do lose the title this season, There needs to be big changes at board level.

If not I fear for our future. Crowds/season tickets will plummett, merchandise also, stuck in a micky mouse league with No big European football nights.

And DD hanging on hoping that one day we will be allowed into the Debt ridden Epl, An average of £3.6 billion debt all Epl clubs collectively.

Maybe the Few games Ban Lennon is about to get in the stands, will show him the mistakes he is making with formations etc.

Everybody else noticing it but him.

Don’t get me wrong, The guy has won his fare share of battles, hasn’t been all that bad, Just not winning the important games which win titles!!!

I do understand that experienced men have failed at Celtic in the past, but I still think it’s wise if we bring in an older head.

It IMO will be more positive than negative, Auld Davie Hay, Go appoint him Board !!

    Hail Hail

we have came to far to put the baby out with the bath water, lennon has shown enough both good and bad. i understand your concerns though.

the big cup will be a dream back like in the nineties when we were on the outside looking in. the gerry mandered qualification route means that we may not see it again.

I agree with the comment that the team NEEDS solid defence before money is spent on a Me Me Me forward.
    Onwards and upwards! 🙂

  • Conall says:

As far as youtube scouting goes that was fairly predictable. He doesn’t look too bad but after Kapo do we really need another journeyman winger?

This guy Kelvin Wilson plus maybe a loan deal for another centre back should see us right. I don’t particularly like loan deals but I can’t see us forking out big bucks on anyone as it is January.

I think Lennons signings have been generally good, some may disgaree. They are better than Mowbrays and Strachans so I trust him to do the business if backed by the board!

When signing 13 players you expect the hit or miss average to favour the miss. Lennon is scoring above the expected hit rating.
