Take That And Party, Finnie and Murderwell

|

I received an e-mail yesterday offering me a free Take That App. It came with the ‘promise’ of up-to-date news, videos and special features exclusive to the app. If you like the warbling of slacked jawed tubby past their best feckers than that’s fine.

To me it sounds worse than being drowned in a barrel of pi$h. Today, I would gladly drown Stephen Finnie in a barrel of pi$h.

Those who celebrated the demise of Dallas missed the point. Dallas has ensured that no-mark sleekit cockless, souless, mantards will be around to do his bidding for years. He has fast-tracked the most inept MIB’s seen in a generation all on the back of dodgy reports, probably.

Stephen Finnie tried to influence the game. That’s the worst thing a referee can do. He charged around like a pantomine cow mooing at incidents, both seen and imagined. He seemed to be suffering from wee baldy man syndrome.

He was just a big cock but then again they are useful.  His failure to grasp basics like when a foul is not a corner, deliberate hand ball is a booking, persistent fouling is also a booking no matter if the player has already been booked and that if you are only 5 yards away from an incident you shouldn’t look to an assistant 40 yards away for help beggared belief.

I’m just glad that their was someone on the park giving a worse performance than the majority of the Celtic team. We could focus our ire on him and forget than we were quite dreadful.

Scott Brown can’t feel wronged. Surely I wasn’t the only one that saw the writing on the wall when he charged towards the Motherwell player like a horny devil dug looking for a leg to rut. He should be leading by example and be mature in the face of such fuckwittery. It’s like asking a toddler not to eat crayons. Especially the red ones.

Murderwell seem to be quite pleased with their performance in front of their new boss, who seems to sum up the cuntfactor that the club has. The biggest put down that I can give them is that despite the best efforts of a referee and being faced with a team with the urge to collapse at any given moment they couldn’t trouble us. A semi decent team would have.

Finnie and Murderwell didn’t factor for the McCourt.

A sending off and some highlights.

My thoughts exactly. Referee was an utter disgrace and was looking to make a name for himself. We should not know these guys names. He lost control of the game early on. Brown pulled out of the challenge, but he has been like a rottweiler on steroids since he came back. He flies into every challenge with wild abandon and it was only matter of time before he got sent off. I’m personally not disappointed he isn’t available against Rangers. He does not have the temperament to handle those games like an adult.

On McCourt, people expect him to work miracles every time he gets the ball. He is unfairly criticized by some. People cry out for entertainment and then when a player tries to deliver, people throw their toys out the pram when the effort doesn’t reward perfect results. I thought he worked very hard for the team against Motherwell. He is much stronger on the ball than I thought and holds the ball up very well..quite a few times I noticed it took more than one player to knock him off the ball while his team mates stood still and offered little support or passing options. This is key, we need to improve our movement off the ball throughout the whole team..the midfield is daydreaming half the time. Passing 5 yds and staying still does not work. Paddy overplayed the ball a few times but he is the spark that we are crying out for. I would rather he chance his arm than watch us pump shite crosses into the box all day. Bottom line, I’m glad he’s in our team.

I agree with most comments above. For most of Wednesday night Stokes never had a team mate within 20 yards of him. When the ball was moved forward, it was usually only McCourt that would move forward to offer an option. Brown and Ledley stood around the halfway line happy with themselves that they had made a pass, and failed to move forward as a unit to offer passing options. Forrest was glued to the touchline and was ineffective all game (maybe Lenny’s instructions tho?) If we play like that on Sunday we will get pumped!

Totally agree about the ref….total arse….
    Totally agree about Brown….total arse….
I agree up to a point with Wildrover about McCourt….I haven’t been his biggest fan..but he is getting better and is working harder than ever…he sometimes over -does it…but when you have his talent ..it’s hard not to.My worry about him on Sunday is belief in himself…in previous games against the Dark Side he has been anonymous…I pray on Sunday he tears them apart.
As for the mid-field…spot on comment imo…
too slow in thought..safe short passes…not enough running off the ball….
    apart from that….they’re brilliant!!

“cuntfactor” absolutely beautiful. This was a great piece and, I think, it sums everything up. Watching Scooch Brootch take that foul (and that card)is like feckin ground hound day. This kid is perhaps the most overhyped piece of shite I have ever seen. Some of the other players are obviously shite but you cant see they are overhyped . Broon, however, was actually given the captains armband – he hurts the team with fouls like that almost every week. check it out – he is suspended or injured around 50% of the time and then when he comes back and gets healthy he has a game or two before he either gets injured or suspended again. Its a perfect circle of mediocrity. I mean watch the highlights – what the feck is he thinkg about – you have a derby coming up, your team is racked with injury, your team has been playing like shit and gives up late goals chronically, the referee is absolutely awful, you have a reputation as a bit of a wanker and most of the refs hate you, your the Celtic captain – AND YOU DECIDE TO RUN ACROSS THE FIELD AND GO IN STUDS UP AGAINST A PLAYER WHO IS ESSENTIALLY ABYSMAL AND HAVING A HORRIBLE GAME. Great – not only can we count on Samaras not breaking sweat, Murphy not moving, FF not stopping shots that are on the ground, a defense that is an absolute shambles, a manager who is still in nappies and a board of directors who actually act like they feckin hate us and hate the club, our captain has ADHD – fire the mongloid.

Firstly on Paddy McCourt,it’s not that he’s getting or working harder. The talent has always been there, hes been at Celtic for over 2 years, its because hes only now getting played from the start, not thrown on with 8 or 10 minutes left, and expected to save the game for us,thats totally unfair on the player.Without McCourt this season we would be at least 5 points worse off.Its time for Lennon and supporters to realise that McCourt has more skill and talent, than some of the current Celts, be they,Greek, Welsh, Mexican,French,English,Scots or even Swedish for that matter.
Secondly on the subject of referee Finnie,I suppose thats the greatest compliment we could give him is, calling him a referee.Where do these b…bags come from, the Dallas school of referees I guess, they all seem to be tarred with the one stick, all prepared to tow the party line and not rock the gravy boat in order to move up the corrupt establishment ladder. Ahhh enough said!
    HAIL HAIL mon the Celts

Hi, good point – he needs the time within the squad. If you look at the videos of him from Derry you cant actually believe what a player he is – it is rare to see that kind of skill anywhere (Spain, Germany or Italy). However, the team changes every week and it is hard for players like that to settle when they don’t know who they are playing with and, invariably, there aren’t many guys running off of the ball for him. McCourt is a franchise player – a legend in the making but Lennon always had a problem with McGeady and I am a bit scared that he will push Paddy to the side in order to advance his own signings (he is currently persevering with Murphy in this fashion – don’t you think Rasmussen was better than Murphy? Murphy has played considerably more regularly than Rasmussen did – it’s a joke). The referees issue is indicitive of Scottish football in general – one step forward and sixteen hundred and ninety steps backwards.

Finnie? Just another one from the same conveyer belt.
his view was actually blocked when the 2 players came together. Check it out.
He’s either gave a decision for something he didn’t actually see or he’s got x-ray eyes!

  • Mike Bhoyle says:

O’Cahan: Not back to argue…but…it’s no secret that McCourt was way below the fitness and stamina levels required when he arrived …and it took him a long time to get these levels up….and that’s the reason he wasn’t an automatic first pick every week….no other reason….
His skills are not in question…but for quite a while …his attitude was….
He’s now showing a marked increase in workrate to go with these skills…and I wish him every success for the future…as we can only benefit from that…
    Cheers…
