A Barrel Of Fish: A Sammon, A Vaughan and A Makriev

|

It now seems like Celtic are shooting fish in a barrel when it comes to centre forwards.

Last night saw Radio Hootsmon get all excited that Connor Sammon had turned down the mighty Scunthrope to stay at The Marnocks at first then later on decided that he was coming to Celtic.

I hope they were taking a flyer as they were getting bored talking about Kenny Misser. If not then this signing harks back to the days when the club was in the grip of Stachanisation and we convinced ourselves that Chris Killen was a decent signing.

Those on the Toffeeweb seem convinced that we have signed James Vaughan on loan for a fee of £250,000. Those in the advert seemed pleased about the move anyway.

Another striking name being muted is Dimitar Markriev. The Bulgarian international is plying his trade in Israel where he has scored 50 goals in 3 seasons. He see’s us as the ‘next step‘.  He also has Yous Tube!
