Our Centre Half Shortage Is Not That Desperate

|

When Danny did his hamstring (update: out for 3 weeks) it wasn’t just our rivals that got excited.

Next to the Trent it wasn’t hard to imagine the Chairman of Nottingham Forest seeing pound signs and Billy Davis being as animated as that time he had a text from Tommy that just said ‘Troll‘.

They want £600,000 to allow Kelvin Wilson to leave ASAP. Wilson has hardly played this season. His game time total is 39 minutes since October. If he comes he might not hit the ground running.

With our move for Curtis Davies dead in the water due to red tape those who are wallowing in wrong choices see a chance to redeem themselves.

Sol Campbell, who was last seen looking like Beth Ditto modelling the Newcastle home kit, has pleaded: “I couldn’t come to an agreement with Celtic last summer, that’s the way it goes at times. I was still impressed by the club. Sometimes six months down the road people can wake up and realise things better, look at the bigger picture. We’ll see what happens. Watch this space, eh?”

Eh, let’s not, Fat Boy.

Sol can go fuck himself. I’d rather play Hoopy at CB than that mercenary. Sounds like he “woke up and realized” he’s too old and slow for the EPL now, well tough shit. Enjoy the Tyneside and that terrible Geordie accent, ya pie.

Just had a thought, which is dangerous; can’t the Mexican midfielder Juarez also play centre back ?

    • BoulderBhoy says:

It is my understanding that Juarez has played RB for Mexico before. I am almost positive that he has never been deployed at CB though.

We could start Juarez at RB though and move Wilson to CB. Wilson has already played CB for Lennon as well when he was deployed there in our last match against the filth last season.

Ok easy to say dont go for him. Or somone is rubbish, too old, not up to it. So who do you suggest we fill the void with?

  • Joe says:

Actually I can’t help but think you need to lose that attitude about big Sol Campbell. He just may be the answer even if he did say no in the summer.
The big man even at 37 is a better central defender than big Danny. Truth be told, we need to stop acting like the huns and welcome the men who suddenly realise they were wrong. Big Sol could easliy be the difference between champions and runner up.

I agreed with you up until I saw Campbell play this year and felt the urge to call greenpeace. we dodged a bullet.

  • Wb says:

Why are we not using the u19s bhoys when the 1st team have injuries, what’s the point having them when we don’t use them, Forrest stepped ulama hasn’t let anyone down, so give the bhoys a chance!!!!

  • Patman says:

He’s looked terrible when he has played. Dodged a bullet is spot on. If he had of signed, Danny would not be here so it was a blessing in disguise

Sol wuz fat as fek last year. They couldn’t come to terms ??????????? along with Celtic fans I heard that every Jimmy Chungs in Scotland was also wiping the perspiration from their collective brows – because if he ever showed up they were going bankrupt for sure. By the looks of it he is not shy of a pie at this point in the season either. Oh how the mighty fall – into a large packet of crisps sometime.

  • BamRAtam says:

BTW THE CENTRE HALF SHORTAGE AT CELTIC IS EXTREMELY F#%KING DESPERATE
