In some strange way I’m glad we had a pedestrian 2nd half when it looked like we may throw it all way.
After all the plaudits of recent weeks, when we have been hailed as the best thing since Pot Noodles, it’s nice to see we are still capable of the faults that blight mere mortals. It’s a leveler against complacency.
As time was slipping away, with us three one to the good, we saw the purpose of a Ljunberg. An old head on to see us through to the final whistle. That’s that mystery cleared up then.
Don’t be too embarrassed about the nature of our first two efforts. They all count.
Youstube and MOTM.

Seeing as I have seen better turf at a torrentially rain hit Glastonbury, we played reasonably well. I did not like the way we tried to coast through the second half and I do not think Dundee deserved the goal we gave them. All in all a good 3 points.

You could see tyre tracks where grounds man Willie or Albert in this case had driven his tractor up and down the park.
Though I didn’t think they deserved their goal you could sense it was coming.

Funnily enough I was wary of a third goal before half time in case it could have induced a second half torpor. Now I think about I`ll take it in the future.
A difficult fixture and a terrific result = a happy weekend.

The second half gives Lennon something to get his teeth into this week.

Couldn’t agree more. 5 or 10 into the second half a few players were going for unnecessary backheels and shit and losing the ball. Love a nice backheel as much as the next bloke but make sure the job is done first.
Great 3 points and also a nice wee reminder nothing is won yet. The dark side will be their usual spoiling selves come Sunday so we need to be on our game – a win on Sunday leaves us ahead even if they win their games in hand. I’m desperate for the game already.

Watched Crimescene last night. Walter Myth went with a very attacking formation. Rest assured he won’t be that way on Thursday and Sunday. Interesting use of that cunt from Arsenal in the McCooluck rule. What does that mean for MoDu and Nessi?
I want this game as well. It means this week is over, I’ve packed, moved and all the stuff left in Lotw towers is for storage.
Who cares at this time if he plays stokes or Ki at this time? Me off course!

Aye, back to the 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 debate. Can’t see Lenny risking the 2 strikers and possibly losing control of midfield. Debate may be Hooper or Sammy.
Good luck wi’ the move.

I’m not buying this rebirth of Sammy. Hooper everytime.

We are saving Sammy for warm days.:-)
