This upcoming month of March will without doubt be the biggest month of the season so far for Neil Lennon and Celtic. We’ve just came through a very tough month with flying colours and another month like this will surely see Celtic be the frontrunners for the treble.
However lets not forget that our last game of this month is a very tough away fixture to Motherwell who will not make it easy for us with their new mana-ger Stu McCall determined to get one over on Celtic. However with momentum firmly on Celtic’s side Sunday should be a tough game but a comfortable result in the end of Celtic.
So more about March.
Celtic will play Rangers twice in both Domestic Competitons in the space of the next 3 weeks. Firstly on the second of March, Mother Brucehillbhoy’s Birthday, and then in the CIS Cup final at Hampden. Going by last weeks game, Celtic should win both very easily, however that is not a mind-set we can afford to have.
Celtic should be ruthless andg oing out not only to embarrass Rangers, but to end their season in a way which would leave us all in a very good mood indeed. There should be one message written on the board in the dressing room. “Lets End Their Season”
So with that set, team for Sunday? Without Kayal the obvious replacement would be Ki to come in and keep the ball moving forward for Celtic. Stokes should replace Samaras if Lennon’s past pre-Rangers selections have anything to go by. Hoopers bang on form which means I’m going to ditch my pre-match ritual of putting Joe Ledley on for the first goal and this week switching my aligience to Hooper. Yes I can picture my face as Ledley smacks home the opener.
Has anyone had enough yet?
