A meaningless friendly provides a laugh, which was something at least.

The teams had come out and lined up. Then came the dignitaries. The original Ronaldo – or Fat Ronnie as he is now known – had already been given a great reception by all in attendance.

Quite right too. He was unplayable in his prime. I’m sure Caldwell and Co were honoured to meet such a legend.

I’m sure Neymar, Lucio, Lucus etc were all honoured to meet George Peat. The man who drove Airdrie into oblivion and is so important that the match day program didn’t know who he was. (Doffs cap to Celtic Rumours)

I’m sure he was fizzing at that snub. At least the Verde-Amarela followers showed him some support.
