Scott Brown Causes International Woe

|

thecelticblog is not a great lover of international breaks. It finds having to look interested in stuff that he has no interest in hard work and looking at betting on games he has no clue seems to give a better chance of picking a winner.

I understand the point of qualifiers but pointless friendlies are a watch behind the couch affair after the John Kennedy Incident. The picture below caused me to blow a fuse this week.

Now it wasn’t the fact that I have an extreme dislike of the company he is keeping in the picture – I have in my mind this image that our players should hate the people we hate and pictures like this just disprove that to be the case and remind you that it is just a job to them -, or that he is dressed like Rupert The Bear being described by Hunter S Thompson after a hefty night on hallucinogenics, white powder, hookers and Jack or that he likes golf.

No, last Sunday Brown limped off after 65 mins. We pay Scott Brown’s around £24,000 a week – deal that won’t be matched when talks start in the summer – and he has had an injury plagued season so him leaving the bossom of Boaby Lennoxtoun to go and play golf with a bunch of c*nts and reprobates in Spain for a week then get it confirmed he is starting against a half-arsed Brazil side – who no longer have THAT magic – really does annoy when you see other clubs who will pull their players out at the slightest chipped toenail and ripped tight.

Brown should be in Spain. But with the Celtic team. End off.

Agree 100%.Brown has been recieving that every week for the last 4 years. How many weeks has he actually deserved it? How many on here and other blogs felt Brown’s suspension at Greyskull in Jan was maybe not such a bad thing?
He needs to show a bit of loyalty to his club and supporters.
BTW, Hutton and McGregor look like tramps. If Brown really wanted to dress like a “bear” he should have worn an old pair of gutties and piss stained trackie bottoms.

I think Lennon has got the best out of Broon. He is a right hand sided midfielder. I fully expect him to move though.

have to disagree about the players should hate who we hate, we all hated Van Bronkhorst or whatever his name is but Larsson and him are REALLY good friends as is Scott Brown with Stevie Whittaker.

Disagree totally. He is out there with his team mates; his Scotland team mates. He should be mates with any player, from any club, when he is not spending 90mins on a football pitch playing for Celtic. Very small minded to think or want him to be otherwise. Why shouldn’t he be pals with them, what logical reason is there?

As for his daft gear – he is a joker. I didn’t see many people complaining when he was prancing about in a Mankini during the Soccer AM cross-bar challenge… It was all just; “Ha ha. Look at Broonie!”

Also the board gave him that contract; anytime I’ve seen him play he has tried his best, but admittedly 60% of the time he hasn’t made an impact. That’s more lack of ability, which again isn’t really his fault.

Anyway I’m just surprised to see such an article when we should be sticking by our players after a disappointing result. And we should also get over the small minded attitudes that just because you play for Celtic means you can’t be friends with a Rangers player – it’s just an ignorant attitude.

I think you miss the point. I make it clear that only in my mind do I think that all Celtic players should dislike Huns as we do. It’s a default and proposporus setting of most fans and is and should be open to ridicule.

The mankini was funny, I’m sure looking like short read on acid when doon a treat with loads. Again I just mention this in passing.

I do support or players. That’s why I call for Broonie blighted by injury Broonie injured last week Broonie shouldn’t be playing in meaningless games.
