5 Facts, Findings and Thoughts Regarding The Celtic Week That Was.

|

This was mean’t to be posted last night but what do you expect from Premium Freeview Content?

1) Against St Midden we attempted (and failed) to be artisans. The battle against the other Saints saw his become cavemanonic in style and substance. This was a lesson learned. Can I be the first to say that I hope we don’t have too many performances like the last two.

2) Can you imagine how good Beram Kayal would be if he was one of the four best players in the country?

3) St Johnstone’s pitch was like a 15 year olds plukey pot marked face after he found out that all his in-sock-activity over Lady Ga Ga was in vain as in fact it is actually a man. Sorry for sounding like a cock but this does nothing for the ‘product‘. Time to embrace the astro turf.

4) Cash strapped Walter Myth must be glad that he spent £4m on Jellyandicecreamvic – to add to his previous £29m – to keep his title dream alive.

5) It’s a number game. The post split fixtures are out and you can’t help feeling that a league win for us would be the most unlikely outcome. We have 5 games away and 2 at home left. Both of us are sitting currently on 76 and 74 points respectively. In the last 4 seasons the league winning points total has been: 87, 86, 89 and 84. With 21 points still to play for are we looking at a plus 90 finishing total for the first time since 2004/05?

Taking one game at a time helps us (the fans) not to worry about the amount of away matches. Win at Kilmarnock and then worry about the next game.
Oh yes there`s the cup too. 🙂
