Coffee &Tv:Goals From Celtic v Kilmarnock Plus MOTM Vote.

|

After that, I’m off to find something exciting to do. Seemingly there is a sale on at a well known DIY store. I’m buying some paint, going to watch it dry. It’s a win but there did seem to be an end of season feel to it.

Here’s Scott Brown scoring. That’s a rare feat.

Kris Commons, scoring a peach. Not a rare feat.

A vote then. I’m going for Broonie. He looked like he was bothered.

I`m happy to see the goal from Broony! :-)Thanks!
Another nervous win but a win is a win is a win! Come on the Celts!

Followed the Taffy1888 link to Commons` goal. That was a bit special!

Fuck, I will sort the goal link later. That’s twice the blog has played silly buggers with embeded codes.

lotw i think your being a bit harsh, i thought we controlled the game quite well, started off slow, but this is coming off the back of the most demoralising game any of the players have probably ever been involved in, we gave murphy his 2nd start this year and were forced into making personnel changes we wouldn’t usually make. the commentary was shocking and negative about everything celtic and the support was nervous which made the game seem quiet. wasn’t a great performance but taking everything surrounding the game i thought we did well.
commons has been superb since signing and its just a shame we didn’t get him until january! lennon has built a very good team in his 1st ever season in management, and all for a little more than the price we sold mcgeady for.

Just thought it was all a bit low key and forgettable.

point taken, it was a forgetable game, except commons’ scorcher! hail hail

That guy was born to score goals. How many times has he scored that exact same goal this season ?..and yet I’m still surprised when he does it.

Sad to say that’s the first game this season I’ve fallen asleep to. Teams try harder against us than anyone else in the league and, like today, it can quickly descend into a droll kicking contest and hoofing it up the park.

Job done, 3pts in the bank.

Your trying harder comment. Just before half time as the game was moping along, full of niggle fouls and general nuggetness from The Marnocks I found myself thinking the exact samething. I thought I was veering into the delusion paranoid conspiracy rubbish chute. I was thinking that R*ngers always seem to get it so easy against mobs or they make it look like they are not troubled.

            Then I got the answer.

Teams have to up their game and carrotness against us as if we play we destroy them. They go for the leveler. When they play R*ngers both teams tactics and playing styles are the same so R*ngers just carry on as per and never look bothered while the lesser club just find themselves playing a better version of themselves. Like an updated windows package. R*ngers are Kilmarnock V3.2.

Did you see any of the ‘Gers game against Kilmarnock on the final day LOTW? Hope you don’t choke eating those words.

The sigh of exasperation when the teams were announced was replaced by a contented nod of the head by full-time, we weren’t sparkling or fantastic and at times throughout the 90 minutes it felt like an end of season affair so much so that I was tempted to change channels and drop in on the good folk of Shieldinch but another Kris Commons rocket lifted the feeling of despair that been lingering like Sainsburys cheap aftershave x x

I think Lennon was a bit stuck for choice, too many injuries and suspensions. I thought Murphy had a decent game, let’s just be grateful he wasn’t forced to rely on Samaras!
The bhoys done well under the circumstances, grass on the pitch was left long and was probably soaked overnight which makes it difficult to play a good passing game because the ball just sticks, i felt that was one of the reasons we struggled at Caley.
