We will mourn the lose of Emilio Izzaguire. The moment he mouthed: “no play, no play” to the club doctor you knew it was a bad one. His injury means that any potential suitor will now be “no pay, no pay.”

I predicted a difficult second season for the player but I never meant this difficult.

What can we say about Anthony Stokes? In the summer few thought he had a future with the club after the demons that influenced his decision making at Arsenal, Falkirk and Sunderland seemed to return to haunt him.

Now after 2 goals in 2 games and an impressive cameo in a few friendlies, the word undroppable is being banded about. Stokes start to season has taught me nothing new. He’s a twenty goal a season striker. He has been most of his career in the SPL. When he signed the we all knew he would score goals.

Undroppable this early? Probably not. What I will say though is that I stand by my declaration that instead of looking for a number 1 or number 2 striker we are looking for a better 3rd striker to put pressure on the two in the box seats.

They both deserve to be in the box seats.

Ok, the videos, bad news then the good news…..

Unsure if the board are being ow as the whole market seems slow and stale. Plus the early start hasn’t helped our patience.
