It’s a win. A win was all that was required before a week off for pointless internationals.

The talking point of the day has to be the idiot that missed Celtic’s impressive opening 15 minutes and only got comfy in time to watch Double F have a great save – he had a few – from McGowan and St Midden dominate for the rest of the game.

St Midden may trouble some this season and I was highly impressed with Tesselar the left back. They were easy on the eye unlike us for 75 minutes. We missed a few chances but it was all quite meh.

Hooper capitalised on our early dominance. That was nice.

Here’s the goals.

well like you say it was a win but my god murderovic is just getting worse midfield needs to gie themselves a shake

But maybe this will pick us up hope so

A win is better than a loss and just in time for the international interruption. đŸ™‚

True, as you would have been tuned to Radio Shortbread what about Rob McLeans ‘Dead Air’ after Hoopers first goal? It took Murdo to inform the listeners of the goal…

  • bhoylondon67 says:

Mulgrew has to be centre back with K Wilson if we don’t bring someone in, M Wilson left back Cha right back, Maj is ridiculously slow and will be specifically targetted by other teams at every opportunity.
    Willie Collum is a disgrace.

    • lordofthewing says:

We need a LB. 6 month loan as Mulgrew has to be available for CB.

Gollum shouldnt be anywhere near a football field never mind in charge on one.

      • bhoylondon67 says:

I think a 1st team centre back has got to be our priority, if we get a good centre back Mulgrew can cover left back until Izzy is back. We need both ideally but a centre back is crucial because Maj, Loovens and Rogne are never 1st team players.
Collum genuinely disgusts me, it’s a game of football people pay to watch and pri@ks like Collum can’t just let teams play a fair game without their sad little prejudiced view influence their decisions. Really is pathetic.

  • Clarkey says:

We were pish after that first spell. St Mirren bossed possession and if they hadn’t committed suicide in that first 15 mins probably would’ve beaten us. The midfield was pathetic. I dont get how Ki and Kayal suddenly can’t get a grip on a game. On the plus side the 2 up front were sharp and Big Lurch was good. How McCourt can’t even make it into that squad never mind start is beyond me. And if Rogne is fit again get him in there and get Dan out for now. Maybe the break will do us good.

And aye, Collum is a joke.

  • Davy says:

Wee Gollum nuff said,Desperate Dan has got to be dropped now, if Rogne is fit play him he can’t be any worse. Kayal is coming back from injury and will be back to his best soon,KI just had a bad day. Still need a striker and centre back, spend some money Celtic.

  • Oz Celt says:

What concerns me was listening to the commentary on Channel 67 you would have thought we were playing great stuff, and the problem is Neil Lennon is starting to sound like Strachan as well, just won’t admit we are sometimes pish, and it’s compounded by his refusal to drop the Likes of Majstorovic and Brown and keeps bringing back Samaras.
Everyone agrees Stokes and Hooper are our best strike partnership but for some inexplicable reason he will leave Stokes out and play Samaras who couldn’t score in a brothel.
We won on Sunday and I was pleased with that, but we must stop deluding ourselves,we were lucky to get away with it.
Shudder to think how we will fare SHOULD we get a reprieve in the Europa League if we continue to play like that!
