I Think the dust has settled enough for us to be grown ups about this and discuss without raising voices the fall out from Sunday.

The fact that we have a cup tie tomorrow evening has let us become distracted and added an extra importance to what is just a Diddy tie against a team that we have no previous against whatsoever.

Click on Glenda attempting a brave diving header, which for me sums up the ludicrous nature of our performance, to reveal the gallery which contains the 5 things we need to discuss.

Sunday was the first derby in a good few years we were beat fair and square without aid from the MIB and that all the more makes it more depressing.
Felt it was on a plate when Coisty went for it as his team has its creative flair pulvarised for the past 3 years or so but the cheerleader made Lenny look like one of those angry dads who treat their under 8’s football team like Fergie treats his grown men at old trafford. I can just see Lennon going off his head in the dressing room while Foster cries ,Sammy wets himself in the corner and Broony’s laughing at a water bottle and nobody knows why.
Passion can only get you so far and even if you have the know how anyway doesnt mean those in the dressing room want to hear it.

One of the strange things was that at HT I wanted us to change and attack the fuckers as we were affording them too much respect. We had been gifted the opportunity to go in front and we decided that we didn’t fancy it.

Your wrong about Froster. He doesn’t show emotion. He has the look of someone that would lock you in an abandoned allotment….

Your right, i think it’s had a bad impact on our fans because we were fairly and badly beaten by a team we obviously have the ability to beat. Like you say it’s been a long time since we were beaten by Rangers without referees significantly influencing the outcome with “honest mistakes”.
We have the players capable of some very good football, Lennon over complicated his team selection when we should have simply played to our own strengths, i don’t doubt we have the better team and squad.
A few of our fans think Lennon went for that particular line-up because of our lack of height, we just bought a short striker, why? If the lack of height is such an issue why did we not deal with that during the transfer window instead of unbalancing our entire team to accommodate a terrible player like Samaras?

      • lordofthewing says:

The fuckin lack of height excuse. That’s straight out the Strachan book of poor excuses

I don’t buy into it either lotw, im just pointing out that if Lennon thinks it’s so important why has he brought in a short left back and a short striker during the transfer window? We shouldn’t be overly concerned by the height in the Rangers team because we have the players capable of dominating them when we put out our best 11, Mulgrew and K.Wilson are our best centre backs, Mulgrew doesn’t need to play left midfield because we have Commons and Ledley capable of covering that side more effectively.

how can newcastle 3rd choice goalkeeper walk in to celtics 1st team, new keeper reqired urgent, also centre half reqired this has been the problem for a long time, rangers always have good keepers and central defenders, every good team has a solid back bone, celtics 3 keepers should be moved on as none of them are any good.hail hail

    • bhoylondon67 says:

I don’t believe Rangers do have good centre backs, Goian is clumsy and a Stokes and Hooper partnership would have terrorised him. We definitely need a centre back though. Why did we buy a left back? I thought Lennon was intending to play Mulgrew at centre back, that was why we got a left back, if Lennon intended on playing Loovens and K.Wilson then surely Mulgrew is a very capable stand in at left back.

      • lordofthewing says:

I don’t think we know if they have poor centre backs. I see Gioan as there Dan due a like for like unremarkable record both have.

Wilson and Glenda are the favoured pairing I think that’s now clear.

  • Gerard says:

We were fuckin shite! Lennons insistance in playing Samar-does-ma-fekn-hair-look-nice-ass and Loo-feck-off-back-to-Cardiff-ya-nob-vens could see his stubborn arse out of a job by Christmas.
