Scott Brown And The Deathly Hallows

Good Evening.

International week then. If your interested in the Haggis Munchers then the news that Darren ‘Fletch’ Fletcher is out will be a hammer blow and that Kenny Misser has twanged a bango string will gall.

I don’t hate my country but I do think it’s a $hithole. I’m not one of those Plastic Paddy’s. I just find it extremely difficult to rouse myself to cheer for players that I openly hate on a weekly basis. Growing to love Sister Pants Adam because he is in dark blue doesn’t appeal.

We have received news that our club captain will be out for 8 to 10 weeks with ankle gout. He was mentioned as one that was missed in the aftermath of Swinecastle.

I do reckon he was missed on Sunday. Mainly because Kayal and Ledley were also missing. If they two were fit they he wouldn’t have been missed and that’s the conundrum for the bean counters.

Broonie still hasn’t signed a contract and Kayal has all off a sudden started indulging in self centred behaviour – see tantrums on the field and his refusal to travel with the squad to Swinecastle – but is also reported to be close to a new deal.

If the questions are which one would we miss most and what one will be most likely to hang around for the long term you are getting two different answers.

Kayal’s thigh knack has not got a timescale for healing. It seems all a bit in the air. Ledley is receiving treatment and should be training next week.

The loss of Broonie will only be felt if they don’t return quickly.

How did Broonie get his injury? I blame Harry Potter.

You know the ones. The ones that proclaim to hate Scotland and support Ireland because they support Celtic which is the only link to Ireland apart from listening to Charlie and the bhoys and The Wolftones they have.

I lost interest in Scotland after the SFA yes man Andy Roxburgh took over. Followed by another in the same mould in Brown who spent his entire period in office whining about how we didn’t have the players to go up against the likes of the mighty Austrians, Norwegians, Greeks and Cypriots. We were getting somewhere with Sir Walter but then a higher purpose beckoned.

      You crack me up.

The man who invented the Wattienaccio being different from Roxburgh and Paw Broon.

      🙂

All the palaver with national anthems and grown men in this tartan army uniform leaves me cold. The Scottish press are as bad as their English equivalents.
However if Scotland lose I`ll be listening with glee to Richard Gordon and his friends on Radio Scotland. This would be my small revenge for their over the top joy after Sundays match. 🙂

That’s another point. It was great entertainment listening to them after the 2-2 draw with a far better side at Hampdump. That’s not me being unpatriotic, just being petty.

Further interesting ‘news’ regarding Brendan. Taking the pish springs to mind now.

If this is true it highlights a major issue, regarding what is wrong at Celtic. Captain my arse. I realise the significance of the role has faded in recent years but Mulgrew is far more deserving. His attitude has been outstanding.

Kayal’s attitude is beginning to worry me, fully agree about Chico.

But, If Brendan wants out he has to ask why didn’t his super dooper agent not get him the move he craved?

I won two tickets at a school raffle to see Scotland play Poland in May 1990, first time I’d been to Hampden on non-related Celtic business and was ultimately the last time too, the abuse that Jacki Dziekanowski got that afternoon from sections of the Tin Can Army (although it may have been cunningly disguised Chelsea fans) was deplorable so whatever faint flicker of interest that I had in international football was extinguished that day. Whether Scotland draw 1-1 with Burkina Faso or England beat Togo on penalties I really don’t care, domestic football (no matter how turgid it is) is the only thing that gets the pulses racing or makes the heart sink x x

Sometimes simple reasons like above are not good enough for those who seek more sinister questioning fo your character.
