When he is not using his season ticket for KFC, drinking his weight in Stella and fighting with his manager Kris Commons proved that he also has a sense of humour.

Still, Chunky Monkey still springs to mind and ‘seemingly’ he is nearing a return.

On the subject of the rumours that swept Glasgow yesterday, of a bust up between Lennon and Commons, which if they are to be believed would have been round two after a worse for wear Lennon and Alan Thompson already give Commons a ‘doing’ in round one earlier on this season, Johan Mjallby mused:

“I’ve not seen any bust-ups. They’re too nice for that, our players.”

Hence the reason why we have only one 6 games in the last 16, me thinks.

Well, nice to see Lennon taking his job seriously! Now that he has quashed rumours about there being a player bust up which resulted in the loss of form from players and thats why we are so behind the current buns. The FACT is that LENNON is just a Kack manager who spends more time out in the town with Thomson boozing than at the training ground.

I hope we lose to Motherwell as the sooner we can get this clown of a manger out, the better! Dont get me wrong, I love Lennon as a player but he’s out of depth here at paradise. The board should bow their heeds in shame!

Remember our CEO was willing to grant Mark McGhee an interview and thought Mogga was worth £1.2m a year. Be careful what you wish for.

Plus, do you really want to give those Lanarkshire chunts any sort of pleasure only usual found in railway station toilets with their sisters?

people like you are pathetic jim.
away n support the huns, celtic dont need or want fans that hope they lose a game.
get a grip, get a life and grow up.

A worse for wear Lennon and Thommo? Come on LOTW, its not often I disagree with you but that’s a bit low, a piece of random, rumour. I don’t know Lennon personally but I’ve seen and heard enough from him to know he has too much respect for himself, the club and us the fans to be acting like that.

The mocking tone I intended about the said rumour (and all other rumours) never came across then.

I have never wanted the Hoops to ever lose a game.
It sticks in the throat and feels almost hun-like.

I hate the idea of losing ground on the Dark Forces and taking attention away from their impending doom.

However, although we should never forget the unacceptable abuse and never seen before (to this level)blatant Anti- Northern Irish Catholic bile and hatred, We as supporters must have a capable management team to take us forwsrd.

I don’t think we have this in place currently.

Right cheery chap Jim eh ? , Dont you have a laugh at work ? Im glad to see theres still a bit of spirit there , as for getting beat at motherwell ( Get a f grip ) ,,,,,, Yeh lets get shot of lenny just now and keep changing managers and squads every year ,,,,,,,Jim are you really a tim ?

    • jim says:

Sorry Alan, last time I checked we were 12 points behind Rangers, in third place and most probably out of all comps that really mean anything to our reputation outside of Scotland.

Also we have a manager who’s on the sauce with his Geordie pal Thommo and making a mockery of us fans and the club.

Listen, the bottom line is I would rather stop the rot now by changing the manager who clearly has lost the dressing room.

I am a cheery chap but sick of hearing the same excuses week in week out with nothing improving.

There needs to be an exit plan but I don’t want to see the team lose to cause it

Lennon an Mjallby need to coach better and be more creative but the players………..They need to man up and do their jobs. Concentrate on passing and crossing and defensive positioning. Winning teams don’t lose the ball like Celtic does

I think the rumours are blown out of all proportion. However, it is safe to say that something stinks at Celtic Park. There is no unity and no spirit. The players have chucked it. Where does this come from?
I also believe that we as supporters got it wrong. Due to the exceptional circumstances of last season the players pulled together and performed well above themselves, yet still ended up losers. We revelled in this unity and began to believe that the players we have are much better than they actually are.
Our dumb, rich neighbours to the south also fell for this, as two good games in a row in the modern game seems to put 3 million on your price tag, and actually started to watch our ‘superstars’. These guys believed the hype themselves and showed up expecting to wipe the floor with the skint gers without breaking a sweat. But they are not that good. In fact they are very average. None of them will play at Old Trafford or Anfield and are in fact very lucky to be pulling on the Hoops in the first place. The skint gers are actually a better team as they have better players, with a much more professional attitude. Our petulant babies are now struggling and most of them would rather be anywhere else than Celtic Park. Lennon’s inexperience has not helped and he now has a group of players who don’t want to be his players but in all liklihood will be there until next season. The ‘big stars’ should be moved on in January as I believe, but take no pleasure from the fact, that Lennon et al will not be at Lennoxtown come Monday.

100% agree mate. There is a huge difference between them & us, we have a YOUNG team who think they should be playing at the top level in England & in the champs lge. They have a team with much more experience who know their limitations. We are buying players around 22 they seem to buy guys around 28 & ok sell on value is grater buy when our whole team of young players your going to lose something & we have definitely lost it.

  • DJ says:

Celtic fans just love to listen to the rumours started by h.ns.
We are 12 points behind with a game in hand. Not the place we wanted. We lost 3 pts to st. Johnstone and 2 to Hibs both were stupid forgiveable results. However our knockers (including people who refer themselves to be Celtic fans) forget the extraordinary injury lists including last season’s player of the year and our captain and by far the best right sided midfielder in Scotland. Maybe with most of our players back we will do what we do best.

    • lordofthewing says:

The injury list is a major factor but surely, the teams that we had out against The Fremers and Hibs if they had played to an inch of their on paper ability would have won? We never. That’s the trouble.

  • Andymck says:

Well the manager proved all you mugs who probably read the daily record wrong . How about getting behind the team and manager and stop sniping. We are Celtic supporters faithful through and through or does that only apply when things are going well for some on here
