Many Of Horror Mr Lustig.

|

The unveiling of Swedish internationalist Mikael Lustig yesterday only added to the feel good factor we are feeling.

An experienced player, still only 25, who is coming in to try and oust the ever impressive Adam Matthews. The signing points to that Cha won’t be getting another contract and that Mark Wilson could be put out of pasture after a few years of commendable service.

The player said:

“I always thought it was a great club for me and I have been waiting for this moment, so now I am here it is perfect.

I come from Rosenborg and I know what it is like. Every game is a pressure and every year you want to win the league so it is the same.

I am quite a calm guy and I think I am going to handle it very well.”

Welcome to Celtic.

Time will tell I guess. I have never really been a fan of Cha, but I do like Matthews. Wilson has been so unlucky with injuries yet has never let us down on the park. A true Celt in my mind.

I like Cha, especially at the bargain rate. Wilson only recently came into his own. I like Matthews but he also has a higher transfer value. This deal for Lustig is good business.

Cha has been impressive at times but perhaps just isn’t the ‘full package’. Wilson has been hindered by injuries unfortunately but a great player for the club- a true pro and a true Celt. Matthews looks like a great player and will hopefully just keep improving. Lustig, he has all the right ingredients to be a success for Celtic. Good luck to him and of course, Celtic!
