Merry Christmas

|

Brucie Bhoy reporting in for the first time in a wee while! Been a very busy bhoy in the past few months trying to adjust from Uni life to the dole queues in what has been a massive life change/culture shock for myself, not that I ever seen myself as anything other than working class, but being working class whilst not actually working is a hard knock life indeed. I think the last time I blogged Neil Lennon was hanging onto his job with everything he had. Now the wee man has rode out that storm and Celtic are looking good again. I had a massive blog idea entitled ‘An Open Letter Of Apology To Neil Lennon’ to congratulate him on his fine recovery as Celtic manager from that dreary 45 minutes when we were 3-0 down at Kilmarnock potentially looking at a 14 point deficit, to being one derby game away from being 1 point behind Rangers, or even ahead of Rangers if they drop points at St.Mirren and we beat Kilmarnock. Its been a terrific last 2 months for Celtic. I’m not ashamed or embarrassed to admit I was probably one of the most vocal voices against Neil Lennon continuing as Celtic manager. It was obvious that something wasn’t working but credit to Lennon he has turned it right around and has sorted whatever problems there were in the Celtic dressing room.

However we’re not out the woods yet, We aren’t top of the table and we haven’t won the league yet. The full turnaround will be complete when Scott Brown lifts the League Trophy in May.

This was just a wee blog to tell the folks I’m still out there and will be previewing the Rangers game next week.

I hopefully speak on behalf of all the bhoys here at the blog by wishing everyone a very merry christmas and a happy new year, well  a happy 28th first, thats a start!

I think we al had doubts about Lennon but it was just a blip, though there will be other blips.

    A Christmas address:

Merry Christmas to all, esp those who visit and comment on this blog. It’s you that make it what it is (I’m unsure what it is though and I have asked the dreamy Brian Cox to investigate) and you will continue to make it what it is.

We are all in the same boat but sometimes are in different rooms. Agreement is boring though eh>?

A thanks to Sean, Brucehillbhoy, and Dalebhoy for their contributions. Also, a special mention to Just Shattered whose ‘State Of Play’ blogs were a thing of beauty, which is rare round these parts. (There are more to come).

We saw St Brendans Bhoy venture us into the territory that is Live Bloggin’. Sometimes when I’m down and go back and read the Live Blog for FC Sion away. It’s like the musings from the best of Just Joan.

This is something that will be re visited in the next few weeks and months.

Which brings me to the absence of regular updates over the last few weeks/months. Brucehillbhoy has explained his so I’ll explain the others.

Sean is having major laptop problems. We all wish him that Santa will reward him for being good.

Me? Well, I have moved house and I’m now on week 7 awaiting connection to a wire that will give me net access and library opening times are very restrictive!

We will be back up to full speed end of Jan, we will be bigger faster and stronger. Or we will just be fatter, I’m unsure.

The format of the last couple of posts will give you a flavour of what is to come.

    Yes, more complete bollocks.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all.

Here’s to beating The Marnocks and defeating the Mankies.

Haven’t been on for a while.
    Thanks for the mention.
Great to see the team now beginning to produce what we hoped they were capable of.
Hopefully another couple of gears to find starting tomorrow and ramping up on Wednesday.
    Here’s to the good guys!
    Happy Christmas to all.
