Whats The Odds?

Oh look at that it’s Friday again already! It was a terrific start to this feature last week with the early kick off at Tannadice! Last weeks tips included Russell FGS v Rangers 11/2 and Dundee United -2 13/2 so considering those two stoated in lets just say right now, the blog Christmas Party is due to be a cracker.

So we’re back this week and this weeks feature game is Celtic travelling to Inverness to play tomorrow lunch time. You’ll have to beat the morning blues to make the bookies for this 12pm kick off but I’m firmly of the idea Celtic will turn up tomorrow and get a job done on. Comfortable victory then worry about Juventus.

So we will be ALL OVER the 4/6 offered for Celtic to beat Inverness. This is as good a price as you will likely to get on Celtic this season in the SPL. So go and take it. We like the 14/1 offered on Charlie Mulgrew for the first goal, not Charlie’s biggest fan but does pop up with a goal often enough and after scoring first for Scotland the other night he’s on a roll. 11/2 to score anytime also tempts. Lennon has said changes will be made because of Juve, but I’d expect Mulgrew to be in the team. So with that in mind he’s another few bets to consider.

  • Stokes first goal 9/2
  • Rogic anytime 10/3
  • Lustig anytime 7/1
  • Celtic -1  2/1 – Plough The Hell On Accordingly folks
  • Celtic -2 11/2

That 2/1 minus a goal sure is tempting, but Inverness are scoring goals, but recently they haven’t been firing on all cylinders and we aren’t expecting them to score many tomorrow, despite the fact Butcher will have them right up for it.

So what else is there to look out for over the weekend in the football?

  • Swansea v QPR – Swansea
