The good ship pre-season has coughed and wheezed to a halt. One of the reasons that the so-called greatest league in the world can be mocked is because teams like Blackburn exists.
Steered by a walrus-looking-goblin-shagging-dwarf-tossing-child-snatcher they resemble the cast of Shaun Of The Dead only that cast had more ability. Still, they beat us so what that say’s about us is up for debate.
What did we learn this weekend? R*ngers beat Blackburn, Hearts drew with them, we lost to them and only sold 10,000 pies. This information is fed into my fickle football fans brain, blows out some steam and concludes:
“We’re doomed.”
