The Diary: A Kapo Signing? Video.

|

A Kapo was a prisoner who worked inside German Nazi Concentration Camps during WW2 in any of certain lower administrative positions.

Olivier Kapo is a 30 year old winger who was released by Wigan in the summer. He seems to have held a number of lower administrative positions before his time at the DW Stadium. He has turned up at Celtic and has signed a deal until June 2012.

The deal seems to be a glorified trial. The contract can be terminated in January next year. Forgive The Diary for feeling that we won’t see much of Mr Kapo and I fully expect the contract to be terminated in January next year, sighting ‘lack of fitness’.

The player has clocked in at Auxerre, Juventus, Monaco, Levante, Birmingham, Wigan and Boulogne. Impressed? It somewhat fades when you consider Steve Bruce has signed him twice.

Here’s a video.
