Should Lennon Feel Foolish?

Our bullish manager said in April: “Celtic Park isn’t an intimidating place anymore. We need to make it a place to fear again so teams don’t look forward to coming here. It should be a priority to make it that way over the next season or two.”

” We can’t keep dropping points at home. It’s going to cost us. It’s a concern.” he said last night after our 3rd home draw in a row, meaning that we have only won 1 home game in 5. Hardly intimidating and the words in April sound so hollow.

With two home games coming up he needs to tell his troops the meaning of intimidating and that being pleasing on the eye, which we were last night if you wipe away the grumblings of a poor result, and without cojones is not good enough.

To think we expected a team that would be Lennon’s mirror image not Mowbray v2.1.
