I know I shouldn’t bother commenting here but I couldn’t give a shit whether he is from Dublin, Ireland or the other side of the feckin’ moon as long as he could do a job for Celtic. He would be a backup for Stokes and Hooper so anyone who can score 14 goals in the SPL should be looked at…where ever he originates from. We could then dump our other Dublin-born striker, Murphy.

I’d like to be the first to congratulate the guardians of the biscuit tin for another stunning financial coup. Making a short-term saving- by loaning out our only fit cover at center-half – is obviously a much bigger priority than making sure that NLs got the players he needs to win the league. Who needs the £12m for qualifying for the CL. We’ve done okay without it for the last two years. £24m ? Pah! Let a dodgy, bankrupt Rangers team have it, and another £12m this year. At least we know that we never waste a penny on non-essentials like buying quality players when they’re needed.
