After the excitement of the transfer window, that tonight may have come as a disappointment to some. I mean Tuesday night at Aberdeen is not exactly in the league as the hyperboletastic Transfer Deadline Day.
It saw us relegated to ESPN. We didn’t even get the Murdoch treatment. Â That would have annoyed some.
The window slamming shut (sic) saw some expect us to show some ridiculous ambition and spend a bit of money that we have left in the kitty. Where have they been? Are they new here? Â Did they expect more?
There looking in the wrong place. I set my sights lower and I find I’m not too disappointed. In fact this year am absolutely in a strange place. We’ve showed some ridiculous ambition in signing 14 players and, whisper this bit; this is the good bit , I hear some of them are quite good. That will not do. Backing a manager. What’s the point of that?
I’m sure that some will be disgusted in watching Kayal, Hooper, Lizzy, Ledley et all shaking their money makers and being a damn good watch.

What’s going on ? Brown has transformed into the player we paid 4 mill for, Ledley’s quietly dictating play in the middle and we’re scoring goals from set pieces for the first time in years. Commons looks like a player in’all.

Yes, all is rosey at the moment. Lennon deserves a deal. What has happened to Broonie? Stuck out wide so his failings as a player are not as glaring to the on looker but out wide he becomes a beast of a midfielder.

Agreed, Hooper is an absolutely stellar footballer. How good is that boy’s first touch ? Sees a cross, bang, down..with one foot. Impressive.Strong, intelligent and a brilliant finisher…and he’s only 23.
