‘Cheap’ Forster To Join The ‘Hurt’ Brigade?

thecelticblog wants to know if the divorce rate increases during International weeks? This one seems to have lasted an age, already……

The Celtic players seem to have been on a loop of despair this week. Mark Wilson say’s that ‘it will hurt for a few days‘, Charlie Mulgrew was ‘devastated‘ and Joe Ledley said is was ‘the worst moment of his Celtic career‘. I find it difficult to have any sympathy for them as if they had bothered to turn up we wouldn’t need to listen to the constant drone of ‘taking it on the chin and moving on‘. I had enough of that last season.

I think everyone is still a bit down‘ mused Fraser Forster. He must be guessing as I reckon he will be the only first-team squad member left there. These lonely days may become a regular occurrence if reports that we are looking to seal a ‘cheap deal‘ for the stopper.

Cheap deals‘ usually come in plain packaging or are past their sell-by-date not with a £2m price tag. In football terms they come attached to Bosman rules.

Is that figure a ‘cheap deal‘ for Double F? I’m chaffing like a Broke Back Mountain Cowboy with this one. The man wears that look of a gangsters henchman who gets sent to do the simple jobs but seems to lack any personality or presence to move up the chain. He seems to use his height as a disadvantage, not for the greater good and is uncomfortable with it.

On the other hand, I have seen him produce some wonder saves this season that made me forget that The Holy Goalie even existed. He’s kept us in games and won us points. But, as has been pointed out every keeper is a great shot stopper…..
