5 Facts, Findings And Thoughts About Victory Over The Marnocks

|

1) When you play football without fear it is a beautiful thing. The whole Celtic camp are dealing with a fear unprecedented in the football world. That’s what makes the performance the other night so fecking beautiful. It brought a warm glow as if someone had thrown Ready Brek down my pants.

2) Who would have thought Gary Hooper would be the perfect number ’10’?. His game is like looking through a kaleidoscope that encompasses everything that a forward thinking player should have and when it’s turned you are an observer of beautiful forms, which perfectly mirror and are appropriate for the situation.

3) This was billed as a dangerous game. The only thing dangerous in Ayrshire is what is posted from it.

4) Shaun Maloney billed as pivotal player in the run in then completely dropped from the squad last night. I understand it was maybe something to do with the under 21but it was hard not to look at the subs last night and conclude the players that got game time had Sunday in mind.

5) All credit to The Marnocks for their ‘football philosophy’. Problem is they look like they are queuing outside a Post Office for Invalidity Benefit not getting measured for Armani Suits. Sometimes you have to admit that your suit is from ASDA and act accordingly.
