Absolutely gutted tonight. A totally shambolic performance. The defence was shocking. Midfield and forward line totally disjointed. We knew before the game that butcher like McCall would have his team fired up yet we lacked hunger and desire. Some strange decisions on Lennon’s part. Maloney did not deserve a starting place. Stokes and Hooper could have been kept on a bit longer. I fear the worst after tonight’s result particularly as it looks like we’ll be without Kayal.

If you remember the season in question you should also remember that Rangers, and Celtic, regularly rattled in barrowloads against the lesser opposition. Dunfermline, as it happens, were Rangers rabbits for several seasons just as Celtic regularly scored 20+ a season against Glabberdeen. By the way, would you say 9-0 was lying down? Do you really believe Stokes was due a penalty for barging Davis? or Ledley for barging Whittaker? About 2 seasons ago there were all sorts of complaints made by some Celtic fans about Rangers always getting penalties. A quick check of the stats showed that Celtic have been awarded more penalties than any other team in the Premier league. I didn’t check this myself but I’ve no reason to doubt the radio personalites who did.

More forwards doesnt mean more goals. They spend most of the game doing nothing. We’d be better off playing with nine men.
I support NL 100% and I hope he turns out to be a great Celtic manager, but he needs to ditch 4-2-4 for ever and improve his tactical awareness. He also needs to take responsibility for his own tactical mistakes, rather than blaming his defenders, as he’s done evey time we’ve had a tactical disaster this season.

I have watched evey game this season. I have opinions on every player. I have tried to be as objective as possible because I believe it is no small achievment to get into a Celtic shirt.
1) Frazer – is not a good goalkeeper. Not commanding enough for Celtic, not organized and not a personality. Too slow off his line and no rapport with his defenders
2) Dan M. – not a good player. Literally hundreds of corner kicks and he invariably bats it wide. When defending he is always in a precarious possition and is very frequently outpaced, outjumped and outfought by very, very mediocre SPL players
3) Chuck Muggins – a couple of decent games when there was no pressure directly on him. Not a centre back – well, not a Celtic centre back.
4) Izzy – great player, absolutely no bottle and does not want to play for Celtic. We will see great things from him but I am sure both he and his agent are talikng in terms of Emirates and Old Trafford as opposed to Rugby Park and whatever the shite hole in Inverness is called.
5) Kayal – great player full stop. Wont find out what it is like to win a league with Celtic. Will pull a Stilian Petrov early doors and we will see him in a Chelsea or Aresenal strip by September.
6) Broon- headless chicken. Couple of good games but is very frequently nowhere to be seen. Cannot marshall his troops and has the IQ of a goldfish
7) Hooper – big games (except 1) AWOL
8) Stokes – shite, greedy, not Celtic class. Are you Riordan in disguise. You will end your career with em…eh…Scunthorpe
9) Maloney – if only it was 6 years ago. Goes backward, shirks in the tackle and his first touch is awful.
10) Commons – think youve got it but cant carry a team. Also a bit suspect in the big game
Sammy and sadly Paddy you both dont have it. Samaras is an utter failure this season…and lazy but McCourt we wanted you to do so well. Hope Bohemians can pay you what you demand or you’ll spend a couple of years on the bench in the championship or the Blue Square. Still have you in my hear.
Obvioiusly not your fault but we are seeing a pattern here. We love you, and you know it but you were there for Raith,Motherwell, Hamilton and the hun matches and you made bizarrae and inept decisions. If we are patient with you do we need to be patient with the likes of Sammy and Dan and Muggins and Maloney and Stokes and Broon etc. etc. etc.
After everything that has happened this season, this was the season you take it, you gloat over it and you stuff it in their faces but you failed at all of the hurdles. Stay – but learn and get rid of the dross or by this time next year your legend will be gone.
The support deserves better.

Anyone who thinks that football fans deserve better needs to look at themselves. Football fans are mugs. We give time, energy and money to nuggets who don’t give a flying fish about us. Thousands of pounds spent on something you can’t influence or have any say over.
We don’t deserve better. We need our heads looked at.

i know celtic have more than likely lost the league, but the gers fans reaction is truly astonishing! last week they had ALL thrown the towel in, been permaraging on every forum, neil lennon was the anti christ, their media, sfa and politician pals couldn’t even hide their lennon hatred when they barely commented on his death threats until it turned into a global story, FARE was the Popes very own secret weapon whose sole purpose was to seek and destroy the rangers “tradition”, their wives were “walking into doors” a couple of nights a week and catholic schools were a par with taliban training camps and the SS. now they all crawl out the woodwork with their “i knew celtic would slip up, i was saying it to bernie and rab down the pub the other night, i wasnae worried”. you can literally hear the collective sigh of relief of hundreds of thousands of medical staff, the elderly and women and kids across scotland, and i live in london.
