Broon haway to Toon? Move imminent?

Scott Brown slated or loved pre-Diouf? A lot of Bhoys initially had him down as a marmite type player.

You either praised the ground he walked upon or you saw him as merely nothing more than squad strength and depth.

Love him or frown upon him, or even the odd one or two who dislike him, he is now etched into Celtic folklore for doing what arguably we all would have loved to do: –

Score a corker of a goal against the gers and turn around and celebrate in, again, arguably one of the most disliked men in footballs, face, El-Hadji Diouf.

The image was sent around the Twitterverse and beyond. The smug but rightly so Scott Brown with arms outstretched with Diouf gazing upon him in a disgusted manner.

The image was priceless and will be forever remembered as not just a goal, but a stand, a stand for what Celtic is.Brown must have known what Diouf has done and did that night Diouf spat at a Celtic fan.

Now that thought is lasered into our memories, Brown has since put on some decent displays out on the right side of midfield and does a decent job in the centre of the park (but before you all think it) we know and all have a variation with 2 out of a possible 3 that we would gladly have in the centre of the park.

His leadership also came to the forefront in this sprouting season for Neil Lennons thunderous young squad, he spoke when he needed to and did show what he was about on the pitch.

I could also imagine Brown firing up the lads in the changing room. We only see a smidgen of this when the squad are in the tunnel when we see the focus on his face and then he lets rip with a roar of “Come on bhoys” or other.

This has raised a few eyebrows and people have made notes leading to my point.

Your views please Celts as always.
