The Ongoing Disrespect To Celtic FC
There has been a few touchy subjects to come out of the capitol up late but lets get to the point, lets say safely that my kids are never going on holiday through the Edinburgh based Thomsons travel agents ever, for Thomson the ongoing story must be a pain in the hearts. So what about them?

Over the years they have breathed in, expanded, puffed their chests out and tried to become a bigger pain than our foes across the Clyde over in ‘Scheme’sville are.
We have nonchalantly endeavoured to look in their direction from time to time as they hung in our shadow occasionally, but they have never had the continuity, style or backbone to monument a serious SPL title challenge.
The jam-tarts are not our footballing equals, therefore they are nothing more than another team we will go head to head with in fixtures in the forth coming season.
Pondering Hearts potential transfer targets it would not surprise me if they make approaches to a Mr Woods and a Mr Giggs just to bolster their prospective intentional new brand drive to change the team name to Heart of the Mid-section.
Nevermind trivial and especially groinal ongoings in Tynecastle. The focus of my ramble leads to the excess of facts that was released earlier today. According to BBC Football (full article – http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13940373.stm) : –
“Hearts will not be punished for the assault by a supporter on Celtic manager Neil Lennon at the end of last season at Tynecastle.”
This I find bemusing as from what I gather this is the “Special treatment” again other teams get when anything happens to Celtic. (See Gers players grabbing the referee for example Bougherra etc and Ally McCoists enticing of Neil Lennon). The BBC further stated: –
“An SPL report concluded that Hearts’ stewarding and police arrangements were consistent with safety requirements.”

As you can see from the clip the Stewards and possibly on site Police should never have let that lunatic anywhere Lenny. Imagine the blood on their hands if that pitch invading, mongoloid had a weapon with him.
A man could have been killed because of their (Stewards and Polices) lethargic, pathetic and un-standardized work-rate.
Now this is the funny part. To tackle the issue Hearts are carrying ahead with this beautiful move, as we have heard, but for those of you that have not: –
“Celtic’s ticket allocation will be reduced by around 400 for the next match at Tynecastle on 1 October to create two “clear” zones in the Roseburn Stand.”
Thats right, they pretty much may have said “Ummm its Celtics fault, they brought it on themselves”. They cowardly reduce our fan capacity to make space for a ‘clear’ zone. What will these clear zones consist of barbed wire, sand and a series of landmines? Because the current “safety” measures put in place could be broken down by a toddler waving a plastic spoon.
Why dont they just open up and be honest and say “We messed up, its our fault and standards where obviously not met”. I know the article on the BBC site states that the stewarding and policing was consistent with safety requirements, but how consistent?
As consistent as putting the ice cream on a fan heater for a few hours and expecting it to be still stone cold frozen when you go back to it? The H of M F.C. friends at the SPL HQ have pulled off a corker to get away scott free without a fine for this one.
If I remember correctly in the 2007 champions league when one of our over indulgent Celtic fans decided to celebrate exaggeratedly by jumping a barrier at Celtic Park onto the pitch (Which I do not agree with, it was a stupid thing to do) and approach AC Milan goalkeeper at the time, Dida, to celebrate in his face. (Just after when Scott McDonald slotted the ball in….. insert mini-celebration if you wish before reading on or perhaps recollect on the goal and pause for thought…….ok enough of that)
In the wake of such a scene we got punished by the appropriate governing bodies. This led to a £25,000 fine for Celtic. Now you can argue the severity of the incident or scenario was different or that this was possibly seen potentially ona global scale and therefore influenced the seriousness of the situation.
No matter what happened an outcome was made and the offending club associated with the pitch invading fan was punished.
This purely just shows that the countries (Scotland) footballing governing bodies have no backbone to tackle such issues effectively. Those in positions in power in Scottish football need to have yet again another long hard look at themselves and look at what could have happened that tainted evening at Tynecastle.
