This morning see’s us take on Perth Glory in the NIB Stadium after a momentous effort to make the pitch playable. They are saying the match is one of the biggest in their history , so forgive us for feeling a bit embarrassed and humbled when I’m viewing it as just another friendly.
An old foe is the manager of Perth, Iain Ferguson and they also have Jonathon Gould on their backroom staff. I remember an ex-player telling me that when Ferguson was on Scotland duty his nickname was Boab. Extremely unfunny and a pointless fact.
We should see a run out for the Korean Bhoys, Danny and the late returning others. It’s also live on Setanta Ireland (ahem).
