No Arrests At The Dunblane Double Tree Stadium

It may have escaped some of your attention that last night our neighbours were playing a benefit match for long suffering former Stirling Albion Chairman, Peter McKenzie, who had personally invited the opposition.

During the game a Stirling Observer journalist tweeted that the Police had recommended that the game be stopped due to the sectarian singing coming from the visiting fans in the 1200 crowd. The home team gave two warnings over the PA about the behaviour.

A friend of the blog was at the game. They were bemused with the stooshie. They said:

“Apart from a pathetic attempt at being the Green Brigade and some fireworks their behaviour was just normal and nothing out the ordinary.”

Hence the no arrests then.
