I have been holding my water for a week with this one.
The early start to the league season certainly didn’t help DunT the other evening as they crashed out to Polish cracks Slask Wroclaw on away goals.
Don’t get me wrong. Away goals is a cruel mistress and an unjust rule that I think favours the cautious over the brave. Though, I’m not going to let that bother me when poking fun at the walking German Helmet that is Peter Houston.
He said after DunT’s defeat last week:
“I think we’ll have our own balls, no disrespect to the ones we used, and our fans will make it really tough. I’m not using that as an excuse, believe me. But it’s like anything, you just feel more comfortable using your own stuff.”
The balls are round, the pitches are square your Diddy team was beat by another Diddy team whose managers tactics weren’t written down on an etch a sketch. Am sure Houston found comfort that it was his own etch a sketch.
