Exclusive Bangura Video footage

GHOD APPROVED

BANG, BANG, BANG – Well lets hope so, into the net of opposing teams in the very near future,  as Sierra Leone internationalist striker Mohamed Bangura arrives to add something new to the front line.

Bangura arrives at a time of delicate need at Celtic Park. As the general chatter goes a lot of Celts have piped up that “We need defensive stability, a left or centre back would do” but it is how the gaffer see’s it not us.

Our defensive frailties have been neither here or there in recent matches. Big Maj and the squad ballsing up at Swiss Sion, a few defensive slips and especially a clanger at home have put the spotlight on not just the defence.

In the defeat by St Johnstone we seemed like a lifeless quorn burger pretending to be a 100% prime beef steak, we looked nice in patches but lacked that tasty killer bite when we needed it.

This gave us a much needed kick up the goolies, and with a Larsson seal of approval on an available player how could Lenny and the money shakers resist.

So what about Mohamed Bangura – hes 22, hes quick, predatorial and can conjure up things out of nothing. He has something different about him. Here is a collage of footage primarily from his time at AIK –

As we all know he will need to hit the ground running, even though he still has a raw-ness about his play, he can be a hit in the SPL with us. He has a different nature about him and maybe Lenny can bring this young professional and make him a man and a player to be feared.

A key element to the development of this player will be that he can speak very fluent English, here is an interview whilst he was at AIK –

Mohamed Bangura can be a hit if he is used effectively. His arrival does however bring up some key questions for the manager or your true selves maybe can answer them, your comments are as always very welcome –

How will he fit in?

Will he be thrown into the deep end?

Who will he play with?

Will he be pushed behind a front two?

With the video / action of him will he adapt to our style of play?

Who will be left out? Will Samaras be the continuos bench warmer?

We lacked goals last season. Goals from Sammy and Murph. We had the best defensive record in the league and added Wilson to that.

The Celtic Way is you score 3, we score 4.

Welcome Bangura…though I have an unhealthy Rikki Martin tune going through my head.
