There has been some great entertainment since EUFA decided that FC Sion ‘done wrong’ and reinstated us to the Zooropa League.
Their president, Christian Constantin, has proved to be from the same DNA as Vlad The Mad and seems to be the ring master of his own circus.
Carrying on from ‘revenge against the president’ statement today has seen Christian and his clowns lodge their appeal papers in the wrong court in an act of buffoonery not seen since we took to the field in Sion a few weeks ago.
They have until 11pm this evening to lodge the papers correctly.
With Celtic releasing tickets for the home ties and booking flights for the away it seems that finishing bottom of the the group is an attractive prospect for both clubs and one that they want to taste.
With EUFA in charge further acts of bemusement and mirth could be on the cards before any of the clubs kick a ball in this tournament. It’s an European farce and sums up our recent ventures when passports have been required.
