A Reason To Look Forward To The New Year.

|

The above picture is a reason why we should go into the New Year looking forward though last season we struggled to gain 3 points after defeating our main rivals. Dunfermline is a massive game.

At this time of year it’s usually time to reflect on the past and pick out your best and worst bits of the last 12 months.

The best is getting our club back. It’s the thunder returning and the sheer enjoyment we got from winning the Scottish Cup. That was something I wanted back. The simple enjoyment of winning rather than the foolish snobbery that accompanies the cup competitions nowadays.

The worst. The treatment of our manager reached a low never seen before. I fear this will return if we get ourselves into a stronger position in the league. Probably worse is the country’s reaction and how they intend to solve the problem of sectarianism, which is really anti Catholicism but not one of the media will admit this.

Remember the only person to be punished for all that happened last season is our manager.

The blog has been quiet of late this has been due to a house move and some issues getting reconnected to the Timternet. This won’t be resolved until late January. We arnt going away and have plenty planned for the new year.

So, Happy New Year to all and let’s hope it’s a CHAMPION one.

I agree that Dunfermline is a massive game and one point from the two matches after defeating Rangers last season showed the danger of living off one game.
Come on the Celts in 2012!
