  2. Bring back skippy!!! Jordan Rhodes has brilliantly priced himself out of a move to paradise, as has the coveted Baba Diawara (bloody shame HE IS CLASS)

Maybe the rangers tax case will overwhelm the Scottish media & we won’t know who’s signed until their actually on the park.. anihoo am ramblin, come what may..

    In Lenny I trust…

    Hail Hail!!!

  3. We’ve got to get it right this time.
If the board blow it they should be hounded out of Celtic Park.
We are where we were three years ago….. Rangers are skint and trying to sell their top scorer …… we didn’t buy and they failed to sell their top scorer and the rest is history.
In my opinion the defence is giving up fewer chances than it was even five weeks ago but the problem is the forward line.
Too small percentage of chances created to converted. If we can identify the right striker at the right price I believe we are on for the treble!
This was unthinkable even six weeks ago.
With Izaguire coming back Ledley is released back into midfield to cover for Kayal.
Commons is also comming back and if he makes half the impact he did last year then we should be confident.
If we could get Juarez, O’Dea, Murphy, and Thompson off the books this might free up money to buy a reasonable forward which could catapult us to success.
As I said in one of my rants earlier in the season players values increase if they are in a winning side.
When it comes to wheeling and dealing this summer then, if we have been successful, we could get a few quid more in transfers.
Lets see what happens but I hope history does not repeat itself.

    1. Seemingly The Mexican has left Zaragoza, O’Dea is making noises about staying at Dirty Leeds (I was fully expecting him to be like the Irish Maldini the other night at the Empty Crates but all I saw was a rash, limited CB no better than the chaff we already have). Murphy, they are checking for a pulse and I’m sure that Josh Thompson has applied to sell insurance in Rochdale.

The defence has improved as the system has improved. A move to a 433 has suited us.

  4. The spectre of Fletcher always looms at this time of year and it HAS nothing to do with the Porridge repeats of GOLD. This year is eerily too much like WGS last season. The DIFFERENCE is we now have a manager who WANTS to be in post unlike after our Skippy induced victory over them on Dec 27th 2008.

Hooper and Stokes are likely to suffer loss of form and are prone to the odd knock (Hooper late fitness test tomorrow). The resurrection of Samaras has been televised but all the evidence points to THAT he won’t score double figures between now and the end of the season. He doesn’t fit the scorers boots. Bang Bang? Who knows and frankly do the coaching staff care?

We ARE still in the same position that we were in the summer. Needing a third striker (Sammy is not a striker).

    Sack the board. Heh.

Striker and CB, get rid of the loanees, look to the yoof. Have you seen the gallusness of that boy Dylan? As groundbreaking as his name sake giving up the acoustic guitar.

    1. Both probably, If all rumours come true I’d expect to read about both being kicked out some club in Kilmarnock on the friday night and scoring 4 between them in a lunchtime victory of rangers!

  5. Normal service on the blog will be resumed late next week (hopefully). Blog Towers should be fully fitted with leccy, running water, sanitation and Timternet.

  6. It’s just a shame that PL isn’t half as clever as he thinks he is- or we’d be a shoo in for the league this year. If we dont buy a decent center forward and dont win the league, he should be hounded out, after his lies and cack-handed handling of ‘Diawara’s visa’.

    1. What visa? The one that we didn’t apply for under the ‘leaked’ line that we had reached our quota though no quota system actually exists? Aye, he may fool the superstore bag carrying fly by night but he can’t fool google!

  7. I think PL must spend more time making up stories than doing anything else- like his job, for example.
