Celtic player globally acclaimed, another sensationally bound for Glasgow

Christmas flashback….

“Oh, oh, oh”  as Santa said recently when he visited the Gers boardroom mistakenly whilst delivering Christmas presents.

Even Santa could smell the turmoil, or whatever excrement craig whyte had dragged in there to sign, Santa with a dis-tasted look taking a whiff of the disgust went for the exit of a window where a reindeered Sleigh awaited his chubby bones.

Santa then took off quickly outside the boardroom window, little did he know was little Ally McCoist (with fries) was hiding under the boardroom table.

The old rotund, jocular, red dressed, present deliverer then said as the sleigh shot away into the distance “On dasher, dancer…” the muffled tones of Santa faded into the Glasgow night sky.

Ally McBeal, hearing Santa Claus’ Reindeer send off, then appeared from under the boardroom desk, dressed in his “One-sie Daily Record logo printed winter warmer set” (available now for the fee of Sone Aluko) he pipped to himself in low but un-described, griff tones “Dasher….Danza? Danza? …….EUREKA johnson….thas it, thas it…Sandanza…”

This is the possible fairytale that Rangers will exude into the locality, that will emerge on the backpages and websites of the usual rags that sponge up all the ghastly information they push out, if Sandanza was signed.

I dont mean to squash any possibility of rangers world-exclusive-season-money-saving-signing-replacement-for-jelavic but the players agent /  representative, Clive (Makes moves like) Jagger said;

“There’s also been interest from a couple of Championship clubs and I believe a Premiership club went to watch him on Saturday, but I’m realistic enough to know clubs might have 10-20 strikers on a list, and maybe 19 of those will be crossed off.”

Looks like Rangers will not be able to compete with Championship and the possibility of  a Barclays Prem Club watching him.

Jagger also quipped; “”A Major League Soccer club expressed interest quite some time ago, and that interest has grown because of his performances.”

Looks like Jagger is using the “interest” of Gers to propell Sandanzas transfer potential. I expect the blue un-educated ones to pop a deal Sandanzas peoples way but if Scotrail come in with a better weekly wage of £200 a week and a free railcard, rangers can say cheerio and bye bye to wee Francisco.

Speaking of movement, Scotrail – trains, ok i’m cutting the link fine, we have yet another eastern European member of our squad a polish chap who plays in defence of all places. Somebody who Zaluska can shout at in his mother tongue if Big Fraze was to leave, our new Bhoys name Jaroslaw Fojut.

A well known news outlet that rhymes with “Pie” said on their website;

“The 24-year-old former Poland Under-20 international is set to move to Glasgow this summer on a three-year deal once his spell at Slask Wroclaw comes to an end.”

Even though he is a summer signing, this is another example of our scouting network plus Lennons knowledge of players he has witnessed play in person, he could be a good asset but it is hard to say much about the Polish under-20 internationalist other than hes young and he’s a defender so that’s another one in the bag, no good for now, we need a centre half now but I reckon the staff are working on that as I type. The talk of a new striker still looms also.

In regards to speaking of our frontline, wee Jamesey Forrest has been internationally acclaimed this week, on a worldwide scale due to Fifa recognising him, along sides some of the worlds best youth players, as one of the most talented young players in football. As always Fifa comment particularly on some matters, they said of our wee Jamesey: –

“This old-fashioned winger, described by manager Neil Lennon as Celtic’s ‘baby-faced assassin’, has been the SPL’s outstanding player this season.

“National manager Craig Levein and SFA performance director Mark Wotte have both predicted a bright international career.

“Wotte has lauded the speedy and skilful Forrest as ‘a light in the darkness’ in Scottish football.”

The ever honest, this time I give benefit of the doubt, Scottish Sun website said;

“The world football’s governing body have named the Ayrshire-born 20-year-old on their list of 13 top youngsters tipped for big things this year.”

This is great news on many levels, for the club, for James price tag, should it ever come to that and also Scottish football in general. James is very talented but I would be gutted should he leave.

We need to grasp hold of our talented youth so we can ground our local rivals for years to come but with FIFA putting them on lists, it only builds more interest.

Comments welcome as always….
