Celtic Culture: 125 Year Old Togs Look To Cool For School

I’ve been very critical of our relationship with superbrand Nike in the past. They have made some terrible mistakes with our kits but this time they seem to have pulled of a classic looking top.

The Hoops are up to 9 to celebrate our 9 titles in a row – and hopefully to hammer home the fact that we will be the only team to win 9 titles in a row in a few weeks time.

Nike have based the kit on the early 1900’s when we first donned the now world famous Hoops.

I hated the black socks to start with but on longer looks they actually top of the classic feel, which makes me think that the players all need to grow handle bar mustaches and sideburns. Oh, and the keeper must wear a cap and smoke a pipe.
