In My Memory: Tommy Burns Aftermatch 1988 Cup Final

As a giddy 12 year old returning from a sun soaked Hampden (in the time when our eco system ensured that when we played at Hampden it was sunny) I ran home, rewound the VHS tape and started watching the match again.

At the start of watching my only hope that the Tv did my love of Frank McAvennie and the fairytale of that centenary season justice.

It did more. It gave me the moment that sums up what Tommy Burns was all about.

4 years ago we lost Mr Celtic. Celtic have never lost him.
