Managers Thoughts:

Morning all, pleased with last night, we put in a good performance against a team who are 22 games into a season. i was disappointed to give a goal away at the start of 2nd half, but the way we came back was tremendous. We started the game well enough but just sometimes luck doesn’t go your way, on another night we could have 2 or 3 up. However we have another game on saturday so that should sharpen up the players a bit more and we always looked like we were going to score. The crowd were also phenomenal last night and were always behind us.

Other Managers Thoughts:

“The result mattered most and we have a good chance in the second game. I was especially pleased to get the goal away from home and I was especially pleased with the way we played in the first 45 minutes. It was an amazing atmosphere and Celtic played well but our team fought with great spirit. The tempo Celtic played at wasn’t what we were used to and that is worrying for the second leg, but I still believe we have a chance.”

We Any Good?

We leave the tie finely balanced and Operation Be In Europe At The End Of August isn’t dead. If we were in hospital we would be looking at a life support machine hoping not to be needing that early on in the return leg next week. Butter knifes in the final third. Not good when we need a kill.

 They Any Good?

Turned up looking like Hamilton of a few years back. Played nothing like Hamilton of a few years back and were a nondescript that seemed to lack talent. They may have been kidding but bowl movements seem to suggest they weren’t.

Ref Watch

Miroslav Zelinka (CZE) pointed in the right direction most of the time and didn’t seem to be fussy about what was put in his tea.

The Positive Of Paradise

We are still in the driving seat and we have to hope that another week on the job will see us sharper. It means a Wednesday night out in the pub to watch the game.

The Negative Of Negativity

The fact that I will need to go to a dreadful pub to watch a game that I would rather was done and dusted so I could fanny around trying to pick up a hooky stream while being not to bothered as we were through anyhow. Showing emotions of dread is not becoming in a pub full of alpha males.
