Anyone lost a testicle?

I have come to the conclusion that John McGlynn is a confused idiot. I blame those photochromic glasses he wears. That must confuse the brain.

When asked if the SPL was suffering from Armageddon he said:

“If you look at the league table there are only six points between second top and second bottom. And who would have thought that going into November that Celtic would only be two points clear?

True, who would have expected that? No mistake the Champions League has taken it’s toll on our squad of players…..continue pumpkin head.

“And take Celtic out the league and who could predict anything? It’s so tight and evenly-balanced that each team could beat each other.”

Eh, wait a minute….surely with their only being an 8 point gap between top and second bottom this is the case even with Celtic in the league?

“How many fans would think they could win the league if Celtic weren’t in it at this stage? They would all fancy their chances of winning that league. That would cause great excitement and bring fans back to the game. If you look at the capacity of stadiums now, we would all fill those stadiums if we realistically thought we had a chance of winning the league.”

Really, you walking testicle? You believe that the up turn in attendances seen at Dundee United, Motherwell, Hibs and Aberdeen is down to them believing that they won’t win the league? Off course the up turn is because of what you say. They see a competitive league with their teams making a decent effort.

Maybe if your lot were entertaining and not run by a chairman as mad as a box of badgers then you might have seen an up-turn in attendances? Maybe if you didn’t actively try to punt your two best players to the biggest freakshow in world football then the fans my be flocking in maroon to your toon?

What about paying your players on time or – God forbid – paying Tax?

McGlynn seems like one of those manager types that will tell his full back to bomb forward while telling him also to keep it tight.

After last nights win I’m looking forward to tonights other quarter final ties. St Midden getting past The Sheep was a surprise and if it isnt an all SPL semi final line up it will be a major shock.

Is it wrong to be looking forward to Dundee United v The Jam Farts? I must admit it feels quite dirty.
