Quiet Exit But Not Without Thanks

For those of you who follow the Celtic Blog then you will have been aware that Kevin, or the LordOfTheWing as you know him, has ran the blog immensely for the past few years. Well sadly thats no longer the case as Kevin has departed the blog to focus on other commitments. First off I’d just like to thank Kevin for allowing me the chance to join in the blog back in 2010 and continue to give me a platform to air my views. Never once did Kevin stop me from posting a blog up whenever I felt like it nor did he get angry when my own other commitments got in the way of contributing to the site. Just when I’m ready to focus on the blog again and contribute as much as I was when I was in full flight Kevin has decided to leave.

I don’t think people realise the effort Kevin put into the website every day for years now. I didn’t even realise the full impact until a few months ago when desperate to blog but absolutely void of ideas, I read through just about every blog posted on the site for about the last 12 months. 99.9% were from Kevin himself. Not every one was a 5000 word proclamation but they were always something to tick the reader over until tomorrow. Made me feel embarrassed and slightly ashamed I hadn’t blogged more. I’d like to thank Kevin again and apologise for my neglecting of the site recently.

Myself and thecomicsnob will take over the day to day running of the blog which we are very lucky and grateful for the chance to do so. There will be new content just about every day and with Celtic on the verge of European greatness and stuck in domestic mediocrity there will be no shortage of talking points from now until May.

We are opening our doors to anyone who feels they have something to contribute just contact @thecelticblog on twitter and we’ll be happy to have you.

Also our door is always open to you Kevin if you ever want to contribute and thank you once again for opening my eyes into the world of blogging about Celtic. It was a pleasure.
