Leigh GriffithsCeltic’s development side bounced back from their 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen last week with a 3-1 victory over Hearts at Cappielow Park, Greenock in the SPFL Development League tonight.

Hearts got the first goal of the match in the 26th minute when Calum Waters put the ball into his own net.

Out of favour first team forward Leigh Griffiths equalised with a volley just before the break. Two late goals for the hoops secure the three points, Jamie Lindsay netted in the 84th minute and Kieran Tierney scored four minutes into added time to put the game beyond Hearts

Tonight’s result is a good one for the development side and one that they will look to build on in their next match against Dunfermline Athletic.
