Celtic’s young development side suffered their first loss of the season in Brechin tonight as they lost 2-1 to league leaders Aberdeen. Tonight’s results ends, the young hoops unbeaten run in the development league.
An own goal from Celtic’s Fiacre Kelleher gave Aberdeen the lead. A lead they held until the 53rd minute before Eoghan O’Connell equalised for the Bhoys.
Aberdeen would retake the lead not long after the hour mark when Nicky Low scored what would be the winner at Glebe Park.
The young Celts will look to bounce back from their first defeat of the season in their next match against Hearts.
