Brendan Rodgers has rewarded Leigh Griffiths for his goal in midweek with another start upfront today, against Dundee. This time his strike partner Dembele has to make do with a seat on the bench, as the manager rotates his squad ever so slightly.
Ryan Christie, Nir Bitton and Gary Mackay Steven all start as well, and Scott Sinclair is back on the bench after recovering from injury.
Brendan is taking no chances overall; this is a strong team, with Rogic and Armstrong in the middle of the park and our first choice central defence of Simunovic and Sviatchenko. Gamboa will play at right back, though, as Lustig gets another well earned rest.
December was always going to be a month of changes; the sheer number of games made it inevitable. This is a Celtic side I would fancy against anyone though, and it’s especially good to see young Ryan Christie making the team.
