Young Lewis Morgan has bagged another goal as he edges ever closer to his transfer to Celtic.
It’s been a good week for the kid, although the game against Morton today ended in a 1-1 draw when the home team snatched an equaliser with ten minutes to go.
This kid is impressive, not so much for the way that he’s playing but for the fact he’s kept going whilst all this is going on around him. Yes, he’ll spend the rest of the campaign at St Mirren but it would have been easy for him to have lost focus, for him to have gone through the motions. A lot of players in his position would have held back and stayed safe, instead of going about their business in the normal fashion. What a credit it is to him.
This deal is just about done. I’d love for us to get it over the line as quickly as possible, so that any uncertainty is taken out of the equation.
I will write more about it, and the player, when that happens … but for now congratulations to him on a fine start to 2018.
This is the biggest year of his career thus far, and it has begun with a flourish.
